We congratulate pastor Glem Melo for passing his Capstone Project defense at Mid-America Reformed Seminary in Dyer, IN. His 32-page paper is entitled “A Ministry of Mercy: Gospelizing Muslims.” He will graduate with the degree of Master of Theological Studies on May 3.

Pastor Glem founded Open Eyes Mission in Mindanao, Philippines, in 1998.  For 20 years now, the Lord has been using him to preach the gospel to thousands, train and mentor hundreds of pastors and leaders, provide relief and other humanitarian services to thousands of the poorest of the poor, and plant 4 churches in the 3 major regions of the Philippines.

Their vision: Faithful and fruitful churches that will serve as training and sending bases for church planting teams to Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, and other unreached people groups worldwide.

Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel,
who alone does marvelous deeds.
Praise be to his glorious name forever;
may the whole earth be filled with his glory.
Amen and Amen.

About Glem Melo

I am a believer and follower of Christ, happily married, and have 3 wonderful kids. I am the founder and President of Open Eyes Mission (ministering as New Hope Global in the U.S.); a church planter among Muslims, Hindus, and other unreached people groups in the Devon/Little India area of Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A., under Park Community Church; and studying Master of Divinity at Mid-America Reformed Seminary. The Bible teaches that God is real, man is sinful, hell is real, and Jesus is our only hope of salvation. I believe these truths with all of my heart, and I hope to help others learn of them as well. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) May God give you grace and peace.
