Meeting with PCA Bowie Pastors and Elders

1

By Pastor  Glem Melo

Last Tuesday, I attended the monthly meeting of the pastors and elders of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Bowie (PCA). Since 2009, the Lord has been using, and continues to use, these faithful, godly and caring men of Christ to comfort, encourage and strengthen me, my family and Open Eyes Mission.

IMG_8502The meeting went very well. Crucial matters on church government and our mission work were discussed. Key steps forward were agreed upon and approved.

IMG_8503Please continue praying as Pastor Glem works more closely and more collaboratively with these shepherds-overseers for the greater advancement of the work of Bible Training, Church Planting and Mercy Ministries in the Philippines and beyond.

Praise the Lord!

About Glem Melo

I am a believer and follower of Christ, happily married, and have 3 wonderful kids. I am the founder and CEO of Open Eyes Mission, under the care of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) Chicago Metro Presbytery, pastoral intern at Faith Church in Dyer, Indiana, and studying Master of Divinity at Mid-America Reformed Seminary. The Bible teaches that God is real, man is sinful, hell is real, and Jesus is our only hope of salvation. I believe these truths with all of my heart, and I hope to help others learn of them as well. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) May God give you grace and peace. Reblogged this on Pinoy Presby and commented:

With the pastors and elders of Reformed Presbyterian Church of Bowie (PCA) in Maryland, U.S.A. Not perfect, but faithful. In word and in deed. The Lord has been using (since 2009) and continues to use these Reformed, godly and caring men of Christ to comfort, encourage and strengthen me, my family and Open Eyes Mission.
