Forgiven and Forgiving Seminar

“This teaching seminar is sponsored by our mission and part of our 3-year Bible Training Program for pastors and ministry workers in Cagayan de Oro City. Please pray that the Lord would use His word to heal the hearts of our trainees, and bring about continuing reformation and edification in the churches they serve.” – Pastor Glem Melo

New Hope

Please pray for our seminar on the Bible’s teachings on receiving forgiveness from God and granting forgiveness to others. Our guest teacher is Rev. Stephen ‘t Hart of the Free Reformed Church of Baldivis ( in Western Australia. He is accompanied by Br. Hendrik de Jonge, who is a member of their church and Philippine Missions Committee. The venue is at Balulang Christian Alliance Fellowship (BCAF).

This teaching and training event is conducted in partnership with Open Eyes Mission (, the cross-cultural ministry that planted and continues to serve the progress and development of Kagay-an Reformed Church. The mission also provides training, mentoring and care to the pastor and members of Balulang Christian Alliance Fellowship.

Rev. ‘t Hart and Br. de Jonge visited our church 2 years ago (January 2012). A seminar titled “What is the Church?” was conducted. Pictures here.

About Glem Melo

I am a believer and follower of Christ, married, and have 3 wonderful kids. I am the founder and President of Open Eyes Mission (ministering as New Hope Global in the U.S.); a church planter among Muslims, Hindus, and other unreached people groups in the U.S.; and studying Doctor of Ministry at Trinity International University / Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. The Bible teaches that God is real, man is sinful, hell is real, and Jesus is our only hope of salvation. I believe these truths with all of my heart, and I hope to help others learn of them as well. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) May God give you grace and peace. Glem Melo
