School Supplies for Teen Victim-Survivors

Last Friday, we gave away educational supplies to 60 high school students at Pilgrim Christian College. Each flood victim-survivor received a bag, notebooks, drawing pad, writing pad, pen, pencil, ruler and ID badge holder. Prior to the gift giving, we conducted trauma debriefing and group therapy for them. We provide on-going psycho-social support and counseling in this school.

Please remember to pray for these precious teens.

About Glem Melo

I am a believer and follower of Christ, happily married, and have 3 wonderful kids. I am the founder and CEO of Open Eyes Mission, under the care of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) Chicago Metro Presbytery, pastoral intern at Faith Church in Dyer, Indiana, and studying Master of Divinity at Mid-America Reformed Seminary. The Bible teaches that God is real, man is sinful, hell is real, and Jesus is our only hope of salvation. I believe these truths with all of my heart, and I hope to help others learn of them as well. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) May God give you grace and peace.
